Greek Turkey Burgers

“We all need to make time for a burger once in awhile” Erica Durance

It’s cold, it’s wet and it’s miserable outside so I need comfort food BUT I’m trying to be healthy so…. healthy comfort food 😊

Not quite the same as a big greasy burger and cheesey chips but you’ll be a lot happier in the long run

Make the sauce first and leave in the fridge till you’re ready for it

Combine yogurt, garlic, dill, lemon juice and a pinch of salt

This stuff is soooo good, you can keep it in the refrigerator for 1-2 weeks in an airtight container

Burger time, you can use whatever herbs or spices you like really

I went for red onion, garlic, thyme, salt & pepper and an egg to bind it all together

Add all your ingredients to your turkey mince, I use half breast, half thigh and mix together

Shape into burgers (I have a burger press, best thing I ever brought)

Refrigerate for an hour to help keep the shape

Spray some coconut oil in a pan and fry till cooked, I never time this so keep an eye on yours

Time for construction, again use whatever you want

I used Cloud Bread (check out my easy recipe)

Spread your sauce on both buns

Add the cheese of your choice, I’ve gone for Brie only because I had some left over in the fridge

Top with your turkey burger

Add some spinach…. you know just to make sure it’s healthy 😜

And you’re done, finish with some homemade sweet potato fries and garlic mushrooms and enjoy 😊
